You have landed here because you want to learn more! We are sure you have thought many times about how you can expand into wholesale. You are not alone; many makers share the same thought, and due to the fear of the unknown, they hesitate to make the leap into selling wholesale.

If you're starting out, you'll learn to identify your target audience, register your business, acquire basic bookkeeping skills, and more. Seasoned artists will find course modules to help them scale their business for more success.

How IndieMe Academy Works

Self-paced and built for real artist schedules. Learn when you have momentum, pause when production gets busy, and pick right back up anytime.

  • No deadlines. There is no required pace and no time limits to finish modules within your membership period.
  • Assignments are optional (but powerful). They help you apply each lesson directly to your own business.
  • Quizzes are optional. They are simple self-checks to build confidence and retention, not tests. It’s for your confidence, not a grade. Want feedback? Use our Google Form or ask your mentor for guidance.
  • No grading. You won’t be evaluated or penalized if you skip an assignment or quiz.
  • Want feedback? Mentorship is available if you’d like personalized guidance and support.

Bottom line: this is a supportive resource designed to meet you where you are.

The IndieMe Academy is an online learning program comprising self-paced modules designed to help both new and seasoned artists become wholesale-ready or continue learning to grow their business. With eight master class-style modules, each module consists of several mini-lessons.

Our classroom-style platform includes text-based lessons, downloads, and resources, with insights and practical guidance from seasoned retailers who serve on our advisory board.

Certificate & IndieMe Academy Badge (Optional)

If you complete key modules, you’ll have the option to earn a Wholesale Ready Certificate and an IndieMe Academy Badge. If you choose to use them, they can be displayed to highlight your commitment to wholesale-ready best practices (for example, on your website and/or IndieMe store). They are optional and meant to support your credibility, not create pressure.
